Éste fue, posiblemente, el mejor legado que pudo dejar el Soul de los 70, de la mano del gran, aunque para muchos desconocidos, Bill Withers, camarada de grandes y conocidos percusores de esta tendencia en su pura esencia como Marvin Gaye o Cat stevens. La composición, al igual que sus antecesores como Percy Sledge, Otis Redding o Louis Amstrong, es accesible, aunque majestuoso y poético y con un sencillo mensaje. 
Una gran declaración de amistad desinteresada acompañado de una magistral partitura y voz que hacen que tu corazón se tambalee en su incesante fluctuación.
Ha habido grandes baladas en la historia del soul, Como 'What a Wonderful World" de sobra conocida, que le dedica una oda al mundo. Y así incontables. Pero esta es especialmente cercana. Merece la pena sumergirse en ese pensamiento tan ambicioso, y soñar con que puedes llegar a valorar algo con tanta dedicación.
